Last week, I was invited to a webinar about “implementing STEAM in your class” that is held by RUMAH MAINSTrEAM
It was such a great opportunity for teachers who have been keen in learning and wanting to implement STEAM in their classes. Many are curious, too. We found the answers during our webinar. We learnt:
1. STEAM is a fun way to learn about any topics you find dull or uninteresting.
2. STEAM integrates 5 subject lesson objetives in one hands-on project.
3. STEAM makes the lessons closer to student’s daily life. Students can correlate and implement the lessons better in the end.
There are still lots of lessons to learn from this webinar. 3 more webinars to go, before I can truly achieve my learning goals and try implementing what I’ve learnt in my class. Looking forward to attending the next episode of this webinar.
